GET READY TO HIT THE ROAD
The Kings of The Road game board is a bold, oversized 33" x 22" map of the United States built to capture the scale and spirit of long-haul trucking. Divided into 12 major sectors and 48 navigable quadrants, the board turns every route into a strategic decision as players move freight between real American cities from coast to coast.
CHOOSE YOUR RIG
At the start of the game, each player chooses a Rig Mat to claim their trucking company and determine which color trucks they’ll use on the board. Your Rig Mat keeps track of your loads, expenses, fuel credits, and fleet as your business grows from one rig to three. It’s your headquarters on the table and everything you need to manage your company.
KEEP ON TRUCKIN'
Each player commands a fleet of detailed semi trucks that move across the board as their company grows from one rig to three. Load Cubes fit into the back of each trailer to show when a truck is hauling freight, giving every delivery a clear visual reminder of who’s loaded and headed for payday.

IF THE WHEELS AIN’T TURNIN’, YOU AIN’T EARNIN’
Dispatch Cards are the loads that keep your trucking company moving and earning. Each card tells you where to pick up freight, where to deliver it, how many miles the route covers, and how much the load pays once it’s delivered. Every Dispatch Card is a new job on the board, turning each trip into a race to move freight efficiently and bring in the most profit.
BEWARE THE ROAD
At the start of each round, an Event Card is drawn to introduce new road conditions that affect every driver on the map. These cards place Hazard Markers on specific sectors or cities, creating obstacles like delays, expenses, lost turns, or dropped loads that players must work around. Hazard Markers stay in play for the full round, forcing drivers to adapt their routes and make smarter decisions before the next Event Card resets the road.
LIFE ON THE ROAD
Expense Cards represent the unexpected costs of life on the road, from breakdowns and repairs to fines, fuel issues, and bad luck. Players draw them whenever hazards, events, or mechanical troubles strike, adding real pressure to every decision they make. At the end of the game, all Expense Cards are totaled and subtracted from your delivery income, so staying profitable means more than just hauling loads, it means surviving the cost of the road.
THE FUEL DICE
On your turn, roll the two Fuel Dice to determine how many spaces your rig can move across the map, with results ranging from 0 to 5. If both dice come up blank, your truck breaks down, you’ll draw an Expense Card, but you’ll also collect Fuel Credits to help get back on the road.
Marking the miles
From Logbooks that track your routes and loads, to Truck Stop Markers that indicate where every day on the road must end, each component in Kings of The Road keeps your trucking company moving with purpose. City Markers establish your home base and key destinations, Load Cubes show when your rigs are hauling freight, and Fuel Credits give you the extra push to keep rolling when the road gets tough. Even Lose a Turn tokens bring the setbacks of real trucking to life, capturing the grit, strategy, and constant motion of hauling freight across America.
SIMPLIFIED GAMEPLAY FOR YOUNG TRUCKERS
Kings of The Road includes a simplified ruleset designed to make the game easier for younger drivers to learn and enjoy. With streamlined setup, easier movement, and simpler load tracking, kids can jump into the action faster while still learning the core strategy of the game. It’s a great way for younger players to experience the fun of trucking across America without getting bogged down in the more advanced rules.

Kings of The Road is gearing up to hit crowdfunding, and we’re building the campaign to deliver even more value on launch day.
